Helium Leak Detection (HLD) Service
IVS offers on-site helium leak detection service using the state of the art Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum helium mass spectrometer leak detector offering superior accuracy and reliability.
On average, a leak can be detected, logged and the mass spectrometer can be reset within 20 seconds. This accuracy and reliability is then passed on to clients who can commission the product knowing that it is truly leak free.
Our helium and hydrogen detection technology is used to confirm the presence or absence of channels and/or holes in packages. Our vacuum technology and equipment can be used for package design, failure analysis, tooling qualification, line setup and validation, and product quality monitoring.
Critical Processes often require controlled environments and helium leak detection services can be used to undertake:
